The <strong>DC </strong>universe just keeps getting wider and wider.

This week, the comic book and graphic novel publisher announced that they are launching <em><strong>Dark Nights: Death Metal – Band Edition</strong></em> this March. The new series will release special edition variat covers featuring heavy metal acts <strong>Megadeth</strong>, <strong>Ghost</strong>, <strong>Lacuna Coil</strong>, <strong>Opeth</strong>, <strong>Sepultura</strong>, and <strong>Dream Theater</strong> and will roll out through 2021.

Created by writer <strong>Scott Snyder</strong> and artist<strong> Greg Capullo</strong>, <em>Dark Nights: Death Metal</em> is the sequel to the 2017 18-series comic <em>Dark Nights: Metal</em>, which shifted the DC universe as the world knew it and welcome fans to the Dark Multiverse with its runaway-hit villain, <strong>Batman Who Laughs</strong>.
