China National Publications Import and Export (Group) Co., Ltd. is hosting this year's event, which features Saudi Arabia as the guest country of honor.

The organizer stated that, as this year marks the 75th founding anniversary of the People's Republic of China, a large-scale exhibition featuring a major series of books published over the last 75 years will be presented at the book fair, highlighting China's publishing industry's achievements over the years.

Various cultural exchange activities will take place at the book expo, such as an international publishing industry forum and a children's book forum. Renowned authors and researchers will be invited to connect with readers.

Founded in 1986, the fair is one of the world's largest book fairs and has grown to become one of China's most important international book fairs and trading platforms.
